A powerful expression of craftsmanship and design, this 18 karat gold snake necklace by Sal Praschnik is engineered as both sculpture and adornment. Composed of 53 individually articulated links plus the head, the piece moves with complete fluidity, allowing it to contour naturally around the neck with lifelike presence.
The surface is defined by dimensional, scale-like texturing finished in a refined satin sheen, giving depth and subtle light reflection without high polish glare. The head is set with two pear-shaped diamond eyes, approximately 3 mm x 5.5 mm, totaling approximately 0.50 carats, graded G–H color and VS1–VS2 clarity.
Substantial in weight at 380 grams, this is a commanding piece that balances flexibility with structure. The necklace features a concealed clasp integrated seamlessly into the design, maintaining the uninterrupted form of the snake.
The reverse is fully covered, reinforcing both durability and wearability. When worn, the necklace settles naturally along the collarbone, echoing the movement and posture of a real snake.
